1. System Operations and Management
Responsible for the daily operations and management of the Shenzhen National GeneBank Data Center.
Optimize and advance operational processes.
Develop service strategies for the data center.
2. Software Environment Configuration and Optimization
Assist users in installing, configuring, and updating various high-performance computing (HPC) software (e.g., cluster scheduling systems, parallel computing libraries, scientific computing applications).
Perform performance tuning based on research requirements.
3. User Support and Service
Interpret the latest industry policies and development trends.
Address technical issues encountered by users when utilizing HPC resources.
Provide necessary training and support to enhance user experience and resource utilization efficiency.
4. Project Management and Coordination
Participate in the execution and tracking of data center-related projects.
Assist in managing hardware/software requirements, resource allocation, and progress control to ensure project success.
5. Documentation and Knowledge Management
Develop and update technical documentation, including system operation manuals, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides.
Promote knowledge sharing within the team to improve the standardization of operational tasks.
6. Security and Compliance Management
Assist in implementing data center security policies.
Conduct regular system security checks to ensure data security and compliance, mitigating potential risks.
7. Additional Tasks
Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.
1. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with data center management experience/internships from universities or research institutions, and those with overseas study or work experience.
2. Experience: Over 8 years of experience in data center operations and maintenance management.
3. Professional Knowledge & Skills:
(1) Proficient in Linux operating systems; possesses fundamental network knowledge; familiar with network and security devices such as firewalls and bastion hosts.
(2) Understanding of high-performance computing (HPC) architecture and common software tools (e.g., Slurm, OpenMPI, CUDA); knowledge of large-capacity parallel file systems like Lustre and GPFS. Candidates with HPC cluster management or large-scale data analysis experience are preferred.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of quickly identifying and resolving system faults, and effectively handling emergency situations.
5. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills; able to communicate effectively with users and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, providing professional and user-friendly technical support. Candidates with team management experience are preferred.
6. English Proficiency: Strong English reading skills, capable of proficiently consulting English technical documentation. Candidates with certain English writing proficiency are preferred.
