SMART-NBC, China’s first national-level comprehensive Biobank, is committed to building a bioresource platform centered on human health and medical data, featuring a high-quality biobank as its core strength. Oriented toward basic research, pharmaceutical R&D, and clinical applications, SMART-NBC is developing an end-to-end data resource system spanning major human diseases across scales and modalities, ranging from the micro to the macro level, while establishing an open platform for data storage and sharing to promote high-quality development of the biomedical sector in China and worldwide.
